As an experienced teacher, I know that sometimes a child just needs a little extra time, a different approach or the opportunity to learn with someone outside of their usual home and school environment. That's where I come in.
I offer personalised tuition for preschool and primary aged children, with sessions designed around each child's individual needs, interests and stage of learning.
My aim is not simply to help children learn more and retain more - it's to help them feel confident about learning too.
My approach
Learning should feel positive
I want children to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and trying again.
I use a mixture of play, practical activities, discussion, games and focused learning, depending on the age and needs of the child.
I celebrate progress, however big or small and aim to help children recognise their own achievements.
Because when a child starts to think: "I can do this" that's when the real learning can begin.
