What age are the sessions suitable for?
Little Learners Academy is designed for preschool-aged children, typically aged 1 and over. Activities are carefully planned to support early learning and school readiness.

What is school readiness?
School readiness is about helping children develop the skills they need to feel confident and successful when they start school. This includes communication and language skills, early literacy and maths, independence, social skills, listening and attention, and confidence in new situations.

Who leads the sessions?
All sessions are planned and delivered by Emma, an experienced Early Years teacher with a passion for helping young children learn through play, exploration, and engaging activities.

What happens during a session?
Sessions include a variety of fun, educational activities designed to support children’s development. These may include:

Yes. Parents stay for the full session.

My child is shy. Will they be okay?
Absolutely. Many children take time to settle into new environments. Sessions are welcoming, supportive, and designed to help children build confidence at their own pace. There is no pressure for children to participate before they feel ready.

How many children attend each session?
Sessions are kept to a manageable size to ensure every child receives support, encouragement, and opportunities to participate fully.

What should my child wear?
Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for active play, creative activities, and occasional messy fun. We recommend clothes that parents don’t mind getting a little messy.

What should we bring?
In most cases, everything needed for the session is provided. You may wish to bring a named water bottle. Any additional requirements will be communicated before the session.

Are sessions suitable for children with additional needs?
Little Learners Academy aims to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. Emma is an experienced teacher of neurodivergent children. Please get in touch before booking to ensure the session is the right fit and your child is fully supported.

How do I book a place?
Places can be booked through the website. As spaces may be limited, early booking is recommended.

What if my child misses a session?
If your child is unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Any arrangements regarding missed sessions will be outlined in the booking terms and conditions. Where possible, sessions will be rearranged.
